Sales Engineer at Schindler


Job Description

Visit offices of Architects and Builders to learn their plans to stay informed regarding potential opportunities for Schindler and market prospect whether in NI MOD or EI projects
Record all relevant account and contract details into the appropriate systems and complete the necessary documentation
Ensure the collection of work data relevant to new contracted facilities
Maintain the necessary level of competitor information
Work jointly with the Application Engineering to check technical specifications of complex NI tenders/contracts.
Register all the pertinent information about the customers and the contract
Fill in properly all the necessary documents during process of offer and order stages in coordination with other departments (ADF's) acquisition data forms.
To guarantee the collection of money of the advance payment of all the sales projects
Negotiate contract conditions applying the SRM and commercial policy for Sales of NI, ensuring the signature of contract, approval on drawings & collection of the advance payments. .
Collect NI relevant market information and potential sales, in the daily contact with Zones.
Responsible for the offer, negotiation, order and MOD (FR) sales contract closing and supervise the contract compliance of all major modernizations, in alignment with the KG MOD targets and Schindler internal procedures.
For clients in the current portfolio, Sales MOD (FR) will function in coordination with the corresponding Fulfillment Zone Manager.
Process owner and operational responsible of applying the SRM policy for MOD (FR) sales, ensuring the collection of all the new MOD (FR) sales under his/her responsibility
Manage customer claims related to the modernization projects under her/his zone.
Be informed about potential and/or current legislation changes, which may be a source of new modernization projects.
Job Requirements

Education and Specialty:

Engineering Mechanical or Electrical.
Specific Training and Qualification:

Computer science at advanced level
Advanced English
Good communication skills
Customer orientation
Commercial talent (communicator, planning and management)
Experience Required:

0-2 years being employed at the sector or as Sales Engineer.
