Job Description

Position Summary
Ensure local management system arrangements / procedures address relevant local Occupational Health & Hygiene (OHH) exposures
Provide assurance that OHH risks and impacts from Company operations and activities are effectively managed.
Develop a structured programme to enhance, maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of the existing Occupational Health & Hygiene management system.

Key Accountabilities
Provide assistance for the development and implementation of field based Occupational Health & Hygiene systems and procedures. To monitor Occupational Health & Hygiene management in the field and advise field staff on protective measures, advise the management team on required Occupational Health & Hygiene improvements assisting with appropriate mitigation initiatives to reduce personnel risks.
Developing, administering and assisting in the implementation of procedures to ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Hygiene covering:

Health Risk Assessments
Ergonomics
Noise
Fatigue Management in the Workplace
Food Safety Management System
Water Safety Management System
Health Surveillance including Medical Emergency Response plans
Health Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Maintaining OHH auditing and monitoring systems
Maintaining close liaison with operation, medical, maintenance and administrative staff to ensure implementation of regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to Occupational Health & Safety
Maintaining of systems of auditing and monitoring of Rashpetco's sites in accordance with current Occupational Health & Hygiene and Safety
legislation and Company Code of Safe Practice, including specialist elements such as radiological safety, chemical, medical and biological safety).
Ensure work related illnesses or disease are investigated, managed and reported
Maintaining of records and systems necessary to fulfill Occupational Health & Hygiene and safety policy
Organizing and delivering a variety of training courses to managers and staff within Rashpetco covering such topics as Occupational Health and hygiene for managers and supervisors, food safety management system (HACCP principals), handling of hazardous substances, display screen equipment, behavior based safety, office safety and fire safety.
Track, monitor and close-out findings from audits related to OHH issues.
Responsible for implementing Rashpetco Behaviour Based Safety in conjunction with site and office teams
Maintaining liaison with partners and external organizations
Requirements Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attributes

OHH management in the oil and gas sector.
Development and implementation of international OHH standards and guidelines.
Influencing a range of partners and stakeholders.
Educated to degree level, or higher, in Occupational Health and Hygiene, chemistry, engineering, science or similar subject.
IOSH certified or BOSH or equivalent international body membership
Good analytical skills.
Good interpersonal skills with a flair for building internal and external networks at all organizational levels.
Able to persuade and influence office and site based personnel.
Able to deliver presentations at a range of organizational levels.
Target orientated and self-motivated – able to work under minimum supervision.
